We'd like to introduce you to some of the faces that make up yieldHUB. Most of us come from an engineering background and have extensive experience in the semiconductor industry.

While our head office is based in Ireland we have employees located in Europe, the UK, the US, and Asia. Our talented team is made up of active listeners, problem solvers and progressive thinkers. All of our employees meet the yieldHUB profile.

Our founder John is not your typical CEO. He gets to know every single one of his employees and is incredibly humble, despite his many achievements. He doesn't believe you have to be ruthless to build a business, and thinks empathy and leadership can lead to better outcomes. For someone who's dedicated his career to product and test engineering in the semiconductor industry, John is also creative (perhaps this is his hidden talent). As a child he won a local competition run by an Irish organisation which was looking for its next slogan in an advertising campaign. His art and words were published and he was only 10-years-old. Fast forward to today and he's running a company with a platform that's used by thousands of product and test engineers around the world. John loves what he does and enjoys traveling the world to meet new prospects and customers. When he's not working, John likes to spend time with his family and his dogs. He says he likes to relax with a game of golf or chess. He studied electrical engineering at UCC and spent more than 18 years at a leading semiconductor company before starting yieldHUB.

Jerome really is as bright as he seems if you ever get the chance to have a conversation with him. His hidden talent? He can solve a rubik's cube in less than two minutes. He's also received multiple academic awards, has completed two degrees and has a combined 27+ years worth of experience in the semiconductor industry. At yieldHUB he's not only the the VP of engineering and sales in Asia but he's also our installer-in-chief at sites worldwide. Jerome has particular expertise in data processing and databases. He devotes his spare time to his loving family based in Bohol where they also run a small education centre for children.

Kevin isn't just a superhero in the workplace, he's a real life superhero. In his spare time, Kevin is the deputy team leader at a mountain rescue group. You may even see him competing athletically for fundraising events every so often. Another one of Kevin's skills is staying calm and collected in the workplace, no matter the challenge. He has extensive experience as a test engineer in the semiconductor industry, with a career spanning more than 22 years. At yieldHUB Kevin is our leader in Agile Software Development and ensures we deliver the best experience to our UK and European customers. He also has a degree in electrical engineering and has completed a masters of science.

Carl is our savvy semiconductor and yield management expert, with more than 35 years of experience in the industry. Yes, we are just as impressed as you are! During his dynamic career, Carl's held technical management positions across product and test engineering, assembly, manufacturing, and design. Carl is passionate when it comes to yield analysis and building relationships with customers and colleagues. You may notice he likes to speak his mind, it's one of his many qualities we love. When he's not in the office, you may find Carl playing competitive pickleball and competing in tournaments.

Like a lot of us here, Michael comes from a product and test engineering background. He has a Bachelor's degree in Astrophysics, Astronomy and Space Science and has worked in the automotive, photonics and image sensor industries. We all know he's a genius, but we also like to think of him as our customer success superstar! Michael has a strong track record when it comes to connecting with our customers. His focus is on a growing number of leading edge customers in the UK, Europe and Israel. In his spare time he likes to enjoy time with family and keeps up with the latest advances in scientific research.

Maria is known at yieldHUB as a go-getter who doesn't mind a challenge. She began her career as a test engineer after being recruited while she was studying at university. From there, it didn't take long for her to be promoted to team lead. Today, Maria has 17 years worth of experience in the industry and now heads yieldHUB's QA team. As a team member, she's never shy to put her hand up and share ideas with her team and she has demonstrated creative flare (which is an added bonus for us!). When she's not working, she's likely exploring the outdoors or working on her fitness. Some of her favorite activities include boxing and hiking where she is based in the Philippines. Her favourite quote is: "A well-defined problem is half the solution...but to have a well-defined problem is twice the problem".
